William Topaz

William Topaz is the Editor-in- Chief of InMyArea.com. He received his degree from the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. His career has focused exclusively on intellectual property and content-related industries in consumer, educational, and STM marketplaces. Topaz has held management and executive positions within corporations such as CapCities/ABC, Inc. (now part of The Walt Disney Company), Courier Corporation (now part of R.R. Donnelley), and Times Mirror Co. (now part of Tribune Co.) as well as smaller, privately-held companies. Topaz serves as a Life Trustee of the Music Institute of Chicago and the Institute for Therapy through the Arts.

Alexander Bystritsky, MD, PhD

Alexander Bystritsky, M.D., Ph.D. is the Chief Medical Officer for InMyArea.com. He has been Faculty at the University of California Los Angeles and is currently the Director of the Anxiety Disorders Program and the Saban Anxiety Treatment Evaluation Program. He was the recipient of the OCD Foundation Research Award and has been listed in the Best Doctors in America for the past 12 years. While serving as a Visiting Full Professor at the Harvard University School of Medicine investigating Focused Ultrasound Pulsation effects on brain using fMRI, he was awarded the NARSAD Distinguished Investigator Award, one of the most prestigious awards in Mental Health. Dr. Bystritsky authored the patent on image-guided neuromodulation of brain neurons using Focused Ultrasound Pulsation and is part of collaborative research program on image-guided Deep Brain Stimulation with the department of Neurosurgery at UCLA. He also participates in the Image Guided rTMS program in the Brainmapping Division of the Department of Neurology at UCLA.

Michael Gleason

Michael Gleason is an entrepreneur and the founder of innovative technology and online publishing companies, including InMyArea.com. His accomplishments include founding and selling two technology companies, working for both a U.S. Senator, and the White House on science, technology, and educational funding. Mike holds degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his research involved the fundamentals of optical computing, in collaboration with the Harvard University Department of Physics. He serves on the boards of the Armed Service YMCA (Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the Orange County School of the Arts Foundation.
